We have an upcoming first birthday party to go to the parents requested that the gifts are more activity based rather than toy based since they have so much from their first child. The mom loves to bake with the kids and the birthday boy does not have an apron quite yet, so to the sewing machine I went.
I thought the colours were fun for a little boy. When I made this apron I did not use any accent fabrics and I think it turned out quite cute. As a note the cotton I used was a bit heavier than your typical quilting cotton and so for the ties I thought it was a bit stiff but other than that, I thought it turned our great.
