I recently purchased some short sleeved onsies and dressed them up by adding an appliqued tie to it. They made for a very quick and easy baby boy gift. Here is how I made them:
- Draw tie on the back of Trans-web paper (Wonder Uder or similar)
- Iron onto fabric
- Cut out the tie
- Iron onto onsie
- Optional: sew close to the edge of the fabric tie (straight stitch)(you don't need to do this but I felt better knowing that the tie has been securely sew and will not come loose with washing, though the the directions for the Trans-web says it can be washed)
