birthday card

It's my mother's birthday today and here is the card I made her.  I just realized I forgot to add 'Happy Birthday', it's a good thing I have a bit of time to do that before I give it her later.

She loves things from days long ago and I happened to have an old paper doll book which I used, I think it's so precious.

Here is a list of the supplies I used:

• acrylic paint (Golden Fluid Acrylic)
• alcohol inks
• brad
• cardstock
• chipboard

• gesso (white)
• mod podge (matte)

• stickers (bird stamp, pink flower, lace circle trim)

vintage shopping = hidden gems

This past weekend I went to Abbotsford to go out with a dear friend to go shopping. We went to various shops with both new and second hand items, what fun that was.  We went to one place where you could find almost anything that you could imagine, below are a couple of images but really that does not even show what there was…you could spend hours if you really wanted to there.
