A Christmas Card

It has been quite a while since I made a Christmas card and I thought it would be the perfect time to make some for teachers in my kids lives.  I love making a personal little something rather than buying something, so this year it is homemade carmel popcorn with a card.

  • acrylic paint (Golden Fluid Acrylic)
  • cardstock
  • chipboard
  • dictionary page

  • dymo label
  • embossing powder (clear)
  • gesso (white)

Have a great day

Since I have a child that started school full-time this year I feel busier than I did before. I just don't get it, I should have more time but for some reason I don't.  As a result birthday cards become "Have a great day" cards. Here is a late birthday card for a friend.

birthday wishes

It's my Mom's birthday today and this is the card I made for her. The little girl looking towards the bee and the flowers in the upper left hand corner are something from my childhood. They are from Holland, and I'm not sure what they would be called here but I've had these now for 25 plus years, just waiting to be used. They are made of paper so they were very easy to glue to my card.

birthday card

A friend had a birthday recently and this is the card I made for her.  I started off as I usually do with a dictionary page and painted over it.
